This modest ranch house is located in College Town, near LSU, and while it doesn’t have a view of the lakes, it is within walking distance. Most of the houses of this size and age are being torn down to build new McMansions in their place.
I don’t think this is an exceptional (or even particularly good) example of Mid-Century Modern architecture. It’s just a simple house, but I’d rather see this as part of a neighborhood than some brand new EIFS-covered wonder that is faux-Tuscan villa.
